Individual note: Andrew's residence was listed as Wilkes-Barre on marriage license application.
Application for marriage lists his occupation as steampipe coverer.

Occupation listed as laborer on son Peter's birth certificate, (Recorded: Dec. 2, 1900).
They were living at 349 McLean Street when son Manus was born in September 1908.
(Add 1910 Census info)
Lived at 80 Spruce St. before big house was built. Mom (Sadie) was born here.
They were living at that address in 1910 per Census.
Built homestead at 109 Spruce St. in 1912, after Sadie was born.

He was living in Wilkes-Barre in 1917 per his mother Sarah's obituary.

Notes
Note for: Theresa [Grace] Veronica Gallagher, 25 NOV 1873 - 17 JUN 1958 Index
Individual note:
Year of Immigration to the U.S. listed as 1894 in 1910 Census. In 1910 Census her age was listed as 32, which would have made her year of birth 1878. This information is incorrect. Her age at Immigration would have been 16, based on this information.
Marriage license application of June 1900 lists her age as 25. Also lists her place of residence as Tunkhannock, PA, and occupation as Housekeeper. (Application for marriage was filled out in Wyoming County Court House in Tunkhannock.) This application also states her and Andrew were married in Pittston, PA by E. A. Garvey. She also stated on this application that her parent's names were Manus and Mary Gallagher, which tells me the birth certificate we have for her is correct (born 25 Nov. 1873). She was actually 26 when she filled out application.
She and Andrew were married at St. John the Evangelist Church, in Pittston, PA on June 7, 1900.
Married by: Rev. E.A. Garvey, with witnesses Jeremiah Walsh and Mary Walsh present.
This info taken from Certificate of Marriage furnished by St. John's church.
She returned to Ireland for a visit along with children Peter and Mary when they were small, in the year 1904 according to letters from Joseph to Theresa.
Aunt Angie Mulherin said Theresa went back to Ireland for a visit when Uncle Pete was 3 years old. Aunt Mary was a baby at that time. She said she believes they stayed over there about a year. Uncle Andrew was born 2 years after Aunt Mary, so one year at most sounds about right.

Note for: Manus [Rua] Gallagher, 1836 - 20 AUG 1901 Index
Individual note: The following notes were provided by Neil Gallagher:
Manus and Maire were married in the Roman Catholic Church in Gweedore in the presence of Pat Green and Patrick Mulligan. Ceremony carried out by Fr. Hugh McFadden.
It is believed Manus Rua built his own home when he married Mary McGarvey. It is now empty, (Nov. 2000), but still stands alongside the Magheralosk road.
The Census of Ireland, 31 March 1901, for the residents of the Gallagher home in Magheralosk recorded that Manus was 60 years of age, this would make his year of birth 1841. His death certificate recorded that he died at the age of 65. This would make his year of birth 1836. The details from his death certificate which makes his year of birth 1836 would be more accurate.
In the 1901 Census Manus's name was spelt "Manis", Profession - Farmer. Spoken language - Irish and English.
From the 1901 Census, family residing in the old Gallagher home on 31 March 1901 were Manus Gallagher, his wife Mary (Maire), daughter Bridget (Biddy), son Joseph and grand daughter Mary (Maire). Grand daughter Mary is the daughter of Bridget (Biddy).
