MURDER IN GWEEDORE.
Farmer Shot Dead in his home.
Outrage by Masked Men.
A shocking crime is reported from Gweedore, West Donegal, where on Saturday night a middle-aged farmer named John Gallagher was shot dead in his own home.
It appears that between seven and eight o'clock a masked man entered his house and asked him to come outside. Gallagher refused, whereupon his assailant drew a revolver and shot him.
No motive can be assigned for the crime. Gallagher was between 40 and 50 years of age.
