John and Catherine (Boyle) MulhernJohn Mulhern was born about 1845 in Killybegs, County Donegal, Ireland. John married Catherine Boyle in 1860 in Ireland. The 1900 U.S. Census states that Catherine was the mother of 15 children, 10 still living at that time. It's my understanding that John came over to the U.S. several times before he brought his wife Catherine and their children over. At one point he went out West to work in the Copper Mines in Colorado, then returned to Ireland. John and Catherine emmigrated to the U.S. about 1800 with their 10 surviving children at that time. Three more children were born in the U.S.

These are photos of John and
Catherine (Boyle) Mulhern's descendants.
