I
would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to a few people, for
their contributions and time involved in the content of my genealogy
databases on this website:
Thanks to my cousin Neil Gallagher, living in England, for his major
contributions to our mutual Gallagher and McGarvey lines of County
Donegal, Ireland, as well as many others.
Thank you also, to my Jacksonville friend, Marge Gray, for her contributions
to my genealogy knowledge over the years. She's from Scranton, PA,
and keeps an eye out for my surnames and obituaries for me. If it
wasn't for her I never would have found my cousin Neil Gallagher.
She came across Neil's family tree information on Family Tree Maker's
web site.
Thanks to my cousin Fran (Tim) Klinges, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, for
his continued efforts over the years in researching new leads for
us at the library and Court House on our Irish ancestors, as well
as my German requests. This has been a big help to me, living so
far away from my home town of Wilkes-Barre.
Thanks
to my second cousin Iva Hughes Hanlon, for filling in a lot of blanks
in our mutual Mulhern/Kirk/Ruddy ancestors.
In
October 2002 I had the great opportunity to visit Ireland, and stayed
with a distant cousin of mine Kathleen Mulhern Brophy. Thanks to
Kathleen and her husband for their hospitality, sharing their knowledge
of our mutual Mulhern ancestors, and directions that allowed me
to find the now vacant home of our ancestors in Killybegs, Co. Donegal.
Without the efforts of these people, I'd still be scratching the
surface.
